Overview
Stranger Things is a 2016 science fiction horror television series created by the Duffer Brothers for Netflix. The fourth season is set in 1986, eight months after the events of the third season. The season is the darkest and most epic of the series. It introduces a new villain, Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), a former human who was banished to the Upside Down and became its ruler. The season is split into two volumes, with the second volume featuring a two-and-a-half-hour finale. The fourth season ends with the group defeating Vecna, but the Upside Down is beginning to invade Hawkins. The season is a massive success for Netflix, breaking viewing records. Stranger Things is one of the most popular and beloved series of all time.
