Overview
Taken 2 is a 2012 action thriller film directed by Olivier Megaton, the sequel to the 2008 film Taken. The film stars Liam Neeson as Bryan Mills, who is now on vacation in Istanbul with his wife, Lenore (Famke Janssen). The father of one of the kidnappers from the first film seeks revenge. He kidnaps Bryan and Lenore. Bryan must use his skills to escape and to save his wife. The film is a tense, action-packed thriller, set in the streets of Istanbul. Taken 2 was a commercial success, earning over $376 million worldwide, but it was panned by critics for its weak plot and poor editing.
