300
Overview
Zack Snyder turned a graphic novel into pure testosterone cinema: 300 Spartans versus the entire Persian army, every frame looking like an oil painting dipped in blood. Gerard Butler bellows, abs glisten, and the slow-motion spear throws never get old. Historically nonsense, visually revolutionary. It's basically a heavy metal album cover come to life — and it rules. If you want subtlety, look elsewhere — this is a war cry in movie form.
