CODA
Overview
She's the only one in her family who can hear. Ruby interprets the world for her deaf parents and brother — until a secret love of singing pulls her toward a music-school audition that could take her away from them. Jones is luminous, and the family scenes hit like quiet thunder. Funny, tearful, and never condescending. It took home Best Picture, and honestly, it earned it. Bring tissues for the final audition.
