Crimson Tide
Overview
A nuclear submarine, an incomplete launch order, and two officers — Washington versus Hackman — who fundamentally disagree about what to do next. The entire film is essentially one long argument inside a metal tube, and it's unbearably tense. One of the great two-hander thrillers ever made. The near-mutiny sequence is a genuine masterclass in suspense.
