Edge of Tomorrow
Overview
Edge of Tomorrow is a 2014 science fiction action film directed by Doug Liman, starring Tom Cruise as Major William Cage, a cowardly public relations officer who is forced to fight in a war against aliens called Mimics. He is killed in battle, but he wakes up in a time loop, reliving the same day over and over. He becomes a skilled soldier, and he teams up with Rita Vrataski (Emily Blunt), a legendary warrior, to find a way to defeat the Mimics. The film is a smart, funny, and action-packed sci-fi thriller. Edge of Tomorrow was a critical and commercial success, earning over $370 million on a $178 million budget. It has become a cult classic.
