The Equalizer
Overview
Robert McCall is a Boston hardware-store clerk who reads, drinks tea, and helps coworkers — until Russian gangsters brutalize a girl he befriended. Then the ex-black-ops training surfaces, and Fuqua stages kills like chess moves: methodical, improvised, brutal. Denzel brings quiet menace to every glance. It's Death Wish with a moral code and a stopwatch. Delivers exactly what it promises.
