Overview
Lost is a 2004 science fiction adventure drama television series created by J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, and Jeffrey Lieber for ABC. The third season continues the story of the survivors. The Others take Jack, Kate, and Sawyer to their village, where they are held captive. The leader of the Others is Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson), a charismatic, manipulative, and mysterious man. The season explores the history of the Others and their connection to the island. The third season ends with the survivors making contact with a rescue ship, and with Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) sacrificing himself to save his friends. Lost is a series that rewards careful viewing, with its complex mythology and its rich, developed characters.
