Maestro
Overview
Bradley Cooper directs and stars as Leonard Bernstein, but this isn't a standard biopic — it's a love story about Bernstein and his wife Felicia, and the cost of genius on the people around it. Carey Mulligan is the film's beating heart, and the conducting scenes are electrifying. Gorgeous to look at, anchored by two superb performances. Classical music fans will be in heaven; everyone else will still be moved.
