The Matrix Resurrections
Overview
Neo is back — and he'd rather not be. The fourth Matrix finds its hero older, wearier, and trapped in a shinier simulation, in a sequel that's really about franchises devouring themselves. It's messy and meta and stranger than anyone expected, with genuine feeling buried under the self-awareness. Your mileage will vary enormously. Not the comeback fans dreamed of, but far more interesting than a safe retread.
