Overview
The Night Agent is a 2023 action thriller television series created by Shawn Ryan for Netflix, based on the 2019 novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. The series follows Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), an FBI agent who works the night shift in the White House basement, answering a phone that never rings. The first season was a massive success for Netflix, becoming one of its most-watched series. The second season has been announced and is in production. The series is known for its fast-paced, suspenseful storytelling.
