The Punisher Season 1
Overview
Frank Castle survived his family's murder and turned grief into a one-man war on the criminals who ordered it. Bernthal plays him as a wounded animal — quiet, coiled, explosive — while the conspiracy behind the killings reaches into the military. The action is bone-crunching, but the show's real interest is trauma's aftermath. Bleak, violent, and surprisingly human.
