Overview

Dracula's assistant has had enough. He's joining a support group. Nicholas Hoult plays history's most put-upon employee: Renfield, servant to Nicolas Cage's gloriously unhinged Dracula, finally seeking help for his toxic work relationship. The codependency-support-group framing is inspired, the New Orleans action goes deliriously overboard, and Cage chews scenery like it's his last meal. Gory, goofy, and weirdly sincere about breaking cycles. Horror-comedy done right.
