Spirited Away
Overview
I went in expecting a kids' cartoon and came out convinced it's one of the greatest films ever made. Ten-year-old Chihiro wanders into a bathhouse for spirits and must work there to free her transformed parents. Miyazaki's imagination is bottomless — the food scenes alone are legendary. Magical, strange, and deeply moving. Watch the English dub or subtitles — either way, don't miss it.
