The Boogeyman
Overview
Grief is the real monster here, but there's also a literal one in the closet. After losing their mother, Sadie and her little sister start noticing something hunting them in the dark — while their therapist dad refuses to believe. Stephen King's short story gets a solid, jumpy adaptation with real emotional weight. Horror newcomers: this is a good entry point. Veterans get enough craft to enjoy.
