The Lighthouse
Overview
Two men, one rock, four weeks of fog, booze, and madness — shot in stark black and white like a nightmare from 1890. Dafoe and Pattinson play lighthouse keepers whose power struggle curdles into something mythic and unhinged. It's strange, filthy, funny in the darkest way, and completely unforgettable. Not a casual watch, but if you like cinema that swings for the fences, this is essential.
