Overview
Doom Patrol is a 2019 superhero television series created by Jeremy Carver for DC Universe and later HBO Max, based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. The second season continues the story of the misfit superheroes. The team is now living in a small town, trying to live normal lives. They are confronted by a new villain, Red Jack, a interdimensional being who feeds on pain. The season also explores the backstory of Niles Caulder / The Chief (Timothy Dalton), the team's creator, and his relationship with his daughter, Dorothy (Abigail Shapiro). The second season was a critical success, praised for its continued exploration of trauma and its willingness to be weird.
