Vikings Season 1
Overview
Ragnar Lothbrok wants to sail west into the unknown, and his own chieftain wants him dead for it. Travis Fimmel plays Ragnar with feral intelligence — half warrior, half dreamer — and the raids are brutal, muddy, and thrilling. The shield-maidens and seers give the show real texture. History buffs, forgive the liberties; the spirit is right. If Game of Thrones left a hole, this fills it with axes and salt spray.
