Annabelle Creation
Overview
The best of the Conjuring spin-offs, and it's not close. We go back to the 1940s to learn how a grieving dollmaker and a group of orphan girls set Annabelle loose. Director David Sandberg actually builds dread instead of relying on jump scares. Creepy, atmospheric, and genuinely scary. If the other Annabelle films left you cold, give this one a shot.
