Overview
Arcane is a 2021 adult animated steampunk action-adventure television series created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee for Netflix, based on the League of Legends video game franchise. The series is set in the utopian city of Piltover and its oppressed underground of Zaun. The first season was released to widespread critical acclaim, winning four Primetime Emmy Awards. The second and final season is in production and is expected to be released in 2024. The series is known for its stunning animation, its complex characters, and its emotional storytelling.
