The Blackening
Overview
The horror rule everyone knows gets flipped into a full movie. Seven Black friends at a Juneteenth cabin weekend find a killer who quizzes them on Black culture — get it wrong and someone dies. Tim Story's satire skewers every trope, especially "the Black guy dies first," with jokes that land and scares that work. Smart, funny, and way sharper than the premise suggests. Horror-comedy fans, this is your pick.
