The Conjuring 2
Overview
The Warrens head to Enfield, England, for one of their most famous cases — a haunted council house and a terrifying nun. James Wan directs the hell out of it; the scares are crafted, not cheap. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson remain the genre's best couple. Top-tier mainstream horror, full stop. The Crooked Man sequence is nightmare fuel. Wan is a modern horror master.
