The Electric State
Overview
The Russo brothers send Millie Bobby Brown across a retro-futuristic wasteland with a robot companion, hunting for her missing brother. Based on Simon Stålenhag's gorgeous art book, the visuals stun — rusted robots in pastoral scenery. The story is thinner than the imagery, but it's an easy, pretty watch. Sci-fi fans, enjoy the ride. The retro-futuristic design is the real star. Ambitious, gorgeous, slightly hollow.
