The Favourite
Overview
Olivia Colman's Queen Anne is a glorious mess, and Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone scheme deliciously around her. Yorgos Lanthimos turns a period drama into something wicked, funny, and strange — all fisheye lenses and barbed dialogue. Colman won the Oscar and deserved it. It's not your grandmother's costume drama. Wicked fun for people who like their history with bite.
