Overview
Asimov's supposedly unfilmable novels get a lavish Apple TV+ adaptation about the fall of a galactic empire — and one man's mathematics predicting exactly how it collapses. The clone-emperor storyline, with three versions of the same ruler at different ages, is genuinely brilliant science fiction. It's dense and occasionally slow, but if big-idea space opera is your thing, this is essential viewing.
