House of the Dragon
Overview
The Targaryens had dragons and still managed to destroy themselves — that's the whole tragedy in one sentence. This Game of Thrones prequel follows a civil war over succession, with Paddy Considine giving a quietly devastating performance as a king trying to hold everything together. Fewer quips than the original, heavier dread. Fantasy fans are eating well.
