Hunt for Red October
Overview
Sean Connery defects with a Soviet super-sub, and Alec Baldwin has to convince Washington he's friendly before the shooting starts. The rare thinking-man's blockbuster — tense, smart, and endlessly quotable. Connery's accent is a choice, but he's magnificent anyway. Cold War thrillers don't get better than this. James Earl Jones grounds every scene he's in. A masterclass in tension.
