John Wick
Overview
They killed his dog. That was their first mistake. John Wick is a retired hitman pulled back into the underworld he tried to leave, and what follows is the most stylish revenge rampage modern action cinema has produced. Keanu Reeves barely speaks, but every gunfight is choreographed like ballet with bullets. The world-building — the Continental hotel, the gold coins, the rules — is half the fun. If you like action with actual craft, this is essential.
