Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
Overview
Generations after Caesar, apes rule and humans hide in the shadows. A young chimpanzee's journey collides with a human girl carrying a dangerous secret. The motion-capture work remains stunning and the world-building is rich. It doesn't quite reach the heights of the last trilogy, but it's a strong new chapter. Blockbuster sci-fi done right. The human-ape dynamic flips in fascinating ways. Worth seeing for the craft alone.
