The King's Speech
Overview
A king who can't speak and the therapist who won't bow — I was riveted. Colin Firth is heartbreaking as George VI, forced onto the throne with a crushing stammer, and Geoffrey Rush matches him as the unorthodox Lionel Logue. Their sparring is pure joy. Proof that the quietest films can roar the loudest. Deserved every Oscar.
