Overview

Joe kills people the mob sends back in time — until they send back his future self, and he hesitates. Rian Johnson's time-travel thriller is clever without being smug, and the middle act takes a turn nobody sees coming. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis play the same man beautifully. Smart sci-fi that trusts its audience. The rare blockbuster that gets better every rewatch.
