Overview
Lost is a 2004 science fiction adventure drama television series created by J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof, and Jeffrey Lieber for ABC. The fourth season continues the story of the survivors. The rescue ship, the Kahana, arrives, but its crew is not what they seem. They are mercenaries hired by Charles Widmore (Alan Dale), a wealthy businessman who is trying to capture the island. The season is told in flash-forwards, showing the lives of the survivors after they escape the island. The fourth season ends with the survivors splitting into two groups: one group escapes the island, and the other group stays behind. The island disappears, and the survivors who left are lying about what happened. Lost is a masterful blend of science fiction, adventure, and character drama.
