The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Overview
The journey starts in a quiet Shire and ends with you caring desperately about a ring. Frodo inherits the One Ring and sets out with eight companions to destroy it before Sauron reclaims it. Jackson's Middle-earth feels enormous and lived-in, the fellowship's bond carries everything, and that final scene still hits hard. Fantasy newcomers: this is the gold standard. Long runtime, zero regrets.
