Monkey Man
Overview
Dev Patel directs, co-writes, and stars in a revenge story soaked in Mumbai's neon and grime — and announces himself as a serious action filmmaker. His unnamed Kid fights his way up from underground brawls toward the corrupt elites who destroyed his family. The action is raw and bone-crunching, the anger is real. Think John Wick with a soul and something to say. An electrifying debut.
