Overview
Aaron Sorkin does cable news — which means walk-and-talk idealism at 200 words per minute. Jeff Daniels plays an anchor who decides to stop playing it safe, and the newsroom rallies behind him. The dialogue crackles, the idealism soars, and yes, it's preachy. If Sorkin's earnestness works for you, you'll love it. If it doesn't, you'll hate it. There's no middle ground here.
