The Offering
Overview
Jewish folklore horror is criminally underexplored, and this one makes the most of it. A son returns to his estranged father's Hasidic funeral home in London with his pregnant wife, and something ancient — the demon Abyzou — wakes up. It's steeped in ritual and dread rather than cheap scares. If you liked The Vigil or want horror with real cultural texture, this delivers.
