Operation Fortune
Overview
Guy Ritchie's comfort zone is a tuxedo, a gun, and a quip. Statham plays a swaggering superspy forced to babysit a vain Hollywood star as his cover for an arms-deal takedown. The formula is showing its age, but it still works: glossy locations, snappy banter, Aubrey Plaza stealing scenes with withering sarcasm. It's the cinematic equivalent of a well-made cocktail — familiar, smooth, goes down easy. Action-comedy fans won't feel cheated.
