Rocketman
Overview
Forget stiff, respectful biopics — this is Elton John's life as a full-blown musical fantasy, with his songs exploding into surreal, choreographed set pieces. Egerton sings everything himself and absolutely earns it. It's flamboyant, sad, funny, and brutally honest about the drugs and the loneliness underneath. The "I'm Still Standing" sequence alone justifies the entire ticket price.
