The Son
Overview
Grief looks different on everyone. The Son follows a father trying to help his teenage son through a devastating depression, and Hugh Jackman gives the performance of his career — raw, helpless, utterly human. It's a hard watch by design; this film doesn't offer easy answers. But it's honest in a way few films dare to be. Bring tissues and someone to hug after.
