Tammy
Overview
Melissa McCarthy loses her job, catches her husband cheating, and hits the road with her hard-drinking grandmother. Critics savaged it mercilessly; audiences didn't care one bit. It's messy and uneven, sure, but McCarthy's physical comedy shines bright, and the grandma-granddaughter dynamic has real warmth. A perfectly fine rainy-day comedy — no more, no less. McCarthy completists will find plenty to enjoy.
