Tarot
Overview
Tarot is a 2024 supernatural horror film directed by Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg, based on the 1992 novel Horrorscope by Nicholas Adams. The film follows a group of college students who find a cursed tarot deck in a mansion. They use the deck to read their fortunes, and they are killed off, one by one, in ways that correspond to the cards they drew. The film is a generic, formulaic horror film, with jump scares and predictable kills. It was panned by critics, but it was a commercial success, earning over $50 million on an $8 million budget.
