The Penguin
Overview
Forget capes — this is a gangster saga that happens to share a zip code with Batman. Colin Farrell vanishes into Oz Cobb, a wheezing, limping underdog scheming his way up Gotham's wrecked underworld after the flood. Cristin Milioti matches him scene for scene as Sofia Falcone, genuinely frightening. Eight episodes of betrayals and power plays. Crime drama lovers, clear your week. Somehow the best comic-book show with almost no superheroes in it.
