Overview
The mushroom zombies are the least scary part. The people are worse. A smuggler escorts a possibly-immune teen across ruined America, and what could be a zombie slog becomes a devastating road story about love as survival. Pascal and Ramsey are phenomenal together, episode three alone is a masterpiece, and the finale's moral gut-punch will fuel debates for years. It respects the game and transcends it. Even if you've never held a controller, this will wreck you — in the way only great TV can.
