Women Talking
Overview
In an isolated religious colony, the women gather to decide: stay and fight, or leave everything behind. Based on true events, Sarah Polley's film is essentially one long conversation — and it's riveting. Quiet, furious, and profoundly moving, with a flawless ensemble. A film that trusts its audience, and rewards them. Rooney Mara and Claire Foy are superb. Essential, conversation-starting cinema.
