The Crown Season 2
Overview
Elizabeth grows into the crown as Britain shrinks on the world stage. The Suez Crisis, a faltering marriage, and a prime minister's fall — Foy plays it all with gathering steel, and Smith's Philip finally gets real dimension. Quieter than the later seasons, but the writing is razor-sharp. History lovers will be in their element. The show's most elegant season, arguably.
