Action Adventure

Overview

Can a live-action anime adaptation actually be good? This one says yes. Monkey D. Luffy and his straw-hat crew chase the legendary One Piece treasure across a gloriously colorful ocean world. Iñaki Godoy nails Luffy's rubbery optimism, and the show keeps the manga's joyful heart. Even skeptics should give it three episodes. The Going Merry feels like home by the finale.
