The Sopranos Season 2
Overview
Tony's mother is dead, and somehow things get worse. Season two lets loose Richie Aprile — fresh out of prison, old-school violent, and immediately clashing with Tony's authority. Plus Janice Soprano arrives to stir every pot. Gandolfini deepens Tony's depression while the comedy gets darker. The show that invented prestige TV finds its cruelest, funniest gear. "Funny" has never been this uncomfortable.
