The Wire Season 3
Overview
Hamsterdam. A desperate major legalizes drugs in abandoned blocks, creating a free zone that exposes every hypocrisy of the war on drugs. Season three weaves the corners, the docks, and City Hall into one devastating argument about American institutions. Stringer Bell's arc peaks here. Where season one built characters, this one builds the case. Television as literature.
