The Boys in the Boat
Overview
What does it take for nine working-class kids to beat the world? During the Great Depression, the University of Washington's rowing crew — led by abandoned teenager Joe Rantz — rows all the way to the 1936 Berlin Olympics. George Clooney directs with old-school heart. A classic underdog story, beautifully told. You'll be cheering at your screen by the final race.
