The Kissing Booth
Overview
Joey King runs a kissing booth at the school carnival, kisses her best friend's hot older brother, and teen-movie chaos ensues. It's predictable, cheesy, and critics shredded it — yet it became one of Netflix's biggest hits because it delivers exactly what it promises: swoony, silly romance. Teens will adore it; everyone else should calibrate expectations accordingly.
